Mmmmm, the last time I wrote about Laser Hair Removal, it was Session II. I did write a post for Session III but never published it, so let’s just lump III and IV in together.
Session III
I had Session III on Christmas Eve – Merry Christmas Jacie!
Between Session II and Session III, I have had minimal growth. I only had to shave my face once in the four weeks between sessions. To know how significant that is, I was previously waxing / plucking / shaving twice a week, sometimes more.
In terms of re-growth, I have had no growth on my neck and the sides of my face. That hair is gone. I’ll wait until the next Session to determine whether this is permanent but I am hopeful.
I have had re-growth on my lip. It’s kinda weird because the hair doesn’t grow for three weeks after the procedure and, then, all of a sudden, it grows rapidly, if a little sparsely.
I also had my first session on my under-arms. I had heard that this one hurts but, to be honest, I don’t think it does. But, then, I never think laser hair removal hurts as such. My under-arms were very red for about an hour afterward, but, other than that, no other side-effects.
All up, so uber-thrilled with my results. I’m planning on getting everything lasered in time. This is a hair removal method that really works.
Session IV
I had Session IV on the Friday just passed.
Between Session III and Session IV, I had no growth on the sides of the face and neck. So it’s maybe safe to say that this hair is now permanently gone. And what a difference that makes. The sides of my face look lighter and even a little ‘glowy’.
The hair on my lip and chin is proving to be the most stubborn. Once again, I only had to shave once during the four weeks but I’m still finding that, when it starts to grow, the growth is super rapid. On the bright side, every time it grows back, there is less of it. And I no longer have a dark shadow on my upper lip.
As for my armpits. Well…….. I did not need to shave once. Not once. By the time I went for my session, the hair had grown to just 1mm. This is glorious stuff. It means I can slip on a singlet or sun-dress and not have to worry about whether my under-arms need shaving. It’s strange to say it’s life-changing, but it totally is.
I also had, for the first time, my knuckles done! I have a small amount of hair there so my technician, Ruth, just blasted at them. Three days later, the hairs have dropped out. I’ll keep you posted as to how they progress.
In short, laser hair removal has changed my life. It’s amazing. By the middle of this year, I am hopeful that I will be hair free on the face (except for the hair that I want to have, like my brows, and the blond hairs under my lip that the laser can’t grab).
And, I just wanted to clarify because I had a rather rude email after my last update from someone accusing me of promoting NeoSkin and not declaring it. I am not affiliated with NeoSkin other than being a customer. I pay full price for the services I receive and have never asked, nor have I have been offered, compensation for my reviews. If I rave about NeoSkin, it’s because they’re awesome.
I am always honest about what I receive for review and what I purchase myself. I have been from the start and I will continue to be honest.
